Hello! I'm Andrew
Like most kids, I loved watching cartoons growing up. I wanted so badly to be one of those people that created and drew the shows that I loved watching. As a kid I would often pause and draw the frames of my favourite scenes trying to recreate the animations that they preformed. I never actually succeeded since I had no clue what I was doing but I never gave up because I was having so much fun. Years later I'm now a real professional animator, even if I'm a long way from being one of those amazing animators I grew up worshiping, I know that each day I'm getting closer to that dream coming true.
I graduated from the Animation program at Algonquin College in 2025. In my second year I specialized in 2D animation and then focused majorly on 2D rigging. I found that while 2D animation is and will always be my passion, 2D rigging was something I was surprised to find I enjoyed immensely and would love to have the opportunity to pursue professionally.
In the past I had the distinct pleasure to work on three short films, one animated and two live action films where I acted in major roles. One of the live action films won first place in the Global Film Festival Awards for Los Angeles and was a finalist in the Iconic Images Film Festival.
I love trying new things and I have a wide variety of hobbies that currently include snow boarding, hiking, Dungeons and Dragons, board games, acting, playing multiple musical instruments, amateur bouldering, and seeing how long I can maintain a healthy sleep schedule!
